The study of Nupe Language began in 2016 and 7 years later the institute has held convocation for 3 sets of graduands in a ceremony that held in March 21, 2023 at the Kowa School, Kpakungu, Minna, Niger State.
The institution graduated Students of the Nupe Masterclass, Nupe Diploma, and Nupe Old Students. This is globally the first of it’s kind and the the institute deserve all the commendations possible as the institute is encouraged to make this an annual ceremony.
Most commendable is Adamu Idris Manarakis niw, Nupe Language Professor Honourary for his commitment and drive for the development of the Nupe culture. To you We say…Kubetun i!
The event was graced by HRH Etsu Nupe Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Abubakar CFR who was represented by Alh. Suleiman Baba Alhaji (Sarkin Samarin Nupe), Naibi Nupe, Dan-Etan Nupe, Mukaddamin Samarin Nupe, Etsu Edzo Nupe, Alh. Suleiman Sauki, Mr. Daniel Ndeji, Mal. Ahmad Aliyu, Mall. Abubakar Waziri the Gbari Coordinator, Mr. David Onimisi the Principal of Kowa Schools among many others
